I am sure that you have heard that parenting is one of the most important jobs that anyone can have. Well have you ever given this idea serious thought? Imagine what our society would be if every parent gave the due attention and effort required to the job of parenting.
There are many challenges facing children and teenagers presently such as drugs, violence, sexuality and alcohol among many, but who instructs or disciplines the child in dealing with these challenges when they present themselves? should parents just allow institutions such as the church, or school to teach our children for us?
The home forms the core of society and what ever values and beliefs are acquired there seeps into every fabric of society, we can therefore make the assumption that society is simply a reflection of the general belief and value system of various individual homes.
